(WISH) - After a loss to Minnesota earlier in the week, Indiana falls to No. 2 in the AP Top 25 rankings this week. Gonzaga takes over the No. 1 spot for the first time in school history.
The Hoosiers received 7 first place votes compared to Gonzaga’s 51 toward the top spot. The Bulldogs own the best record in Division I at 29-2.
Meanwhile, Butler falls out of the rankings altogether after being beat by VCU on the road. Notre Dame sits at No. 24.
There has been a ton of turnover at the top spot this season; Gonzaga is now the fifth school to hold No. 1. Duke sits at No. 3, followed by Kansas and Georgetown to round out the top 5.
