BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - The NCAA upheld their previous ruling to suspend Indiana University basketball players Peter Jurkin and Hanner Perea. The university had appealed the suspensions while in New York for the Progressive Legends Classic.

The two will not be in uniform until Dec.15 against Butler.

The pair were suspended just before the season opener for receiving improper benefits while playing AAU basketball for Indiana Elite.

The NCAA says the benefits were improper because their coach, Mark Adams, qualified as an Indiana booster when he donated a total of $185 to the program from 1986-1992.
