WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Purdue coach Danny Hope has a lot on the line Saturday against rival Indiana.

Purdue needs a win to have a chance at postseason play. A loss to the Hoosiers would infuriate a fan base that has alternated between anger and apathy.

Scraping for a bowl bid wasn't what Purdue (5-6, 2-5 Big Ten) or its fans had in mind heading into the season. The Boilermakers were one of the favorites in the Legends Division, but they lost their first five conference games.

A loss to Indiana (4-7, 2-5) could signal the end for Hope.
