INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler senior Willie Veasley has won more games than any other player In Bulldogs history, but the guard sounds like any other college student when you ask him about his passion beyond basketball.

"Video games is a big thing on this team. I can't think of one person on this team who doesn't like to play video games. In the locker room, there's been heated debates about who's the best at which game, so video games has to be number one on our list," said Veasley.

And his cool attitude on the court is much the same off it.

"I'd have to just say (I'm) laid back. I guess you'd say there's never a dull moment for me. I'm just happy to have fun, don't like to get too serious about much, unless it's basketball."

But basketball is not the topic of choice when we run into teammates Emerson Kampen and Shelvin Mack. They are true student-athletes, but classes have a different feel to them this week.

"There's a couple more heads turning, you know. But besides that, just concentrating in class, you find a couple moments when your mind is not really focused on what the teacher is saying or what's on the board, but you kind of expect that with this being the first time in school history," said Veasley.

Butler's Final Four game is the first for a hometown team since 1972. But Veasley said the pressure is behind the team.

"The pressure, if there was, was getting here, just because there were so many people saying the 'Final Four is in your town, so why not get there?' If there was any pressure, it was making it to Indy," said Veasley.

Veasley, who's from Freeport, Illinois, said it wouldn't be a stretch to consider him a Hoosier.

"After four years, I'd have to say I probably know Indianapolis better than I know my hometown right now," said Veasley.
