AFC South title within Colts' grasp

Win Sunday could clinch division title

The Colts know their game against Houston Sunday is a big one. A win this weekend against the Texans and a loss by Jacksonville at San Francisco and the Colts will clinch the AFC south title.

Linebacker Gary Brackett said, "We feel we have to win too. We want to pretty much put the division and everything else in our control…only way to do that is keep winning."

When the Colts head to Houston on Sunday it will be the second time in four weeks the two teams have met.

"One game separates us, they had a bye week and they played a ball game and back to us again.” said head coach Jim Caldwell. “So I think it makes for a very interesting scenario."

Peyton Manning said, "I don't know the last time we played a team this close back-to-back. What's really unique is that they had a bye week after us and a Monday night, so really only one adjustment, game study."

"It's tough. Not a lot is going to change on both sides, just going to come down to execution," said WISH-TV Sportslocker Analyst and tight end Dallas Clark.

The Colts have owned the Texans over the years. The Texans have only won one game against the Colts. It was in Houston on Christmas Eve in 2006. But they always are close games, including this year when the Colts came from behind to win.

Safety Antoine Bethea said, "We are going to go out there a hard tough game. A divisional game, so we just have to go out there play ball."

The Colts are at Houston on Sunday at 1 p.m. on 24-Hour News 8.
