Colts coach shrugs at 10-0 record

Caldwell says team has bigger goals ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts have won 19 straight regular season games dating back to last season. The Colts are also one of only two teams in the NFL that remain unbeaten on the year.

On Sunday, the Colts found a way to beat Baltimore 17-15 to keep their perfect record alive. The Colts defense has been tabbed as one of the best in the league this year and proved it on Sunday when Gary Brackett picked up a huge interception, which sealed the deal for the Colts.

The Colts may be 10-0 on the season but, on Monday, Jim Caldwell said the record means nothing.

"10-0, and then you say, what have we accomplished? Obviously, it's a great record. But when you look at it, you don't have your division locked up, you're not in the playoffs, none of those things have been decided.” said Jim Caldwell. “There are a number of teams who are .500 or above and we just happen to be one of those. We still have our work cut out for us because those teams think they still have a chance.”

The Colts have Tuesday off before returning to work on Wednesday to get ready for a trip to Houston on Sunday at 1 p.m. on 24-Hour News 8.
