INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson is back on the field and running
back Mike Hart may not be far behind.
Jackson's early return to practice Thursday surprised some
because it normally takes players a full year to recover from ACL
surgery. Jackson had his surgery Dec. 1.
Jackson says he is not yet 100 percent, but he and Hart are
both clearly ahead of schedule. Hart also tore his ACL in October
and said he could pretty much do everything -- if asked.
Neither player would say whether they expect to be on the
field for the team's first training camp practice Aug. 1 in Terre
Haute.
A health care battle is heating up in Washington and here in Indianapolis.
