INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - 24-Hour News 8's sports anchor Anthony Calhoun has learned Colts
defensive end Dwight Freeney may be out 2 to 3 weeks.
In Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals Freeney limped
off the field at the end of the third quarter with a right leg
injury and did not return.
He is expected to miss the Colts home game on Sunday against
the Seattle Seahawks.
But, Calhoun said if Freeney says he's feeling better and the
Colts want to use him, he could come back possibly in time for the
Tennessee Titans game on October 11.
A health care battle is heating up in Washington and here in Indianapolis.
