INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - It's a big day for Colts fans. It's the first Blue Friday of 2009 and it's also the first of the post season. Saturday night the Colts take on the San Diego Chargers.
The Meijer on Southport Road is handing out Colts posters Friday morning and doing what they can to pump up the fans.
Colts fans say they can't wait to watch the game Saturday night as the Colts get some payback for last season against the Chargers.
"I think the Colts are going to take it. I think Peyton Manning is going to carry the team this weekend. The running game has been struggling but they'll pick it up, they'll take it and bring it back home," said Kevin Massing, Colts fan.
A final pep rally will also be held downtown. The celebration gets underway at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Circle Centre Mall. Colts alumni and cheerleaders along with live music by the band Dave and Rae will all be part of the event.
