INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The director of a local production studio is using his talent to celebrate the Colts' success as more of a community service.
Greg McGuirk is creating a Colts tribute song.
"It's a neat thing to do and it's our 15 minutes of fame," joked McGuirk.
McGuirk also created a band and a song the last time the Colts went to Miami.
"It was totally a fun thing. But there's a pressure to turn it quickly because this is gonna have a short life. In two weeks it's gonna be forgotten about after the Super Bowl is over, you know?" said McGuirk.
Making the song available free at BlueSunday.net avoids conflicts over NFL licensing issues. So, no, he doesn't make any money with the song.
But, if it gives his company and the singers a little publicity along the way, that's OK with him.
