INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Colts will be missing some key players on Sunday when they take on the Jets at 1 pm on WISH-TV due to injuries.
One of those players that will not be playing is Robert Mathis.
Thursday night while taping Colts Playbook, WISH-TV Sports Director Anthony Calhoun asked Colts Interim Coach Bruce Arians about the status of the linebacker.
"Robert sprained a knee when he made the sack. He got two evaluations on it this week and knowing him he'll be back sooner than most people think.” said Arians.
“We think 2-3 weeks, but I wouldn't be surprise to see him back faster than that." said Arians.
The Colts will practice on Friday before they head to New Jersey on Saturday.
