Arians reacts to penalty flag

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) -  Colts Interim Coach Bruce Arians won his first game as a coach on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Arians did have one moment on Sunday where he had many folks in the press box wondering what he was doing when he threw the red challenge flag after the Packers scored a touchdown.

He picked up an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty because every scoring play is automatically reviewed.

"You're in a position you do what you do, you make the decisions. I knew I couldn't throw the flag.

"I'm throwing it anyway. Everybody in the press box told me I couldn't throw the flag.  I wanted to talk to those officials.

"He's going to kick it into the end zone anyway.  We were going to get it on the 20. It don't matter so yeah I have good help upstairs and they said, 'Coach it's not challengeable,' and I said I don't care," said Arians.

Arians and the Colts return to work on Wednesday gearing up to face the Jets on Sunday at 1 p.m. on WISH-TV.
