Arians: Reggie Wayne difference maker

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts are at Detroit on Sunday and a win against the Lions would put the Colts one step closer to getting into the playoffs.

There is no doubt that Reggie Wayne has a lot to do with the Colts even thinking post season these days and Thursday night while taping Colts Playbook, WISH-TV Sports Director Anthony Calhoun asked Bruce Arians how vital Wayne is to this young team.

"I think he's been blessed with a lot of talent but even more so than the talent is the work ethic, because hard work beats talent that doesn't work hard over time, and he's got both.” said Arians.

“You can't put a value on his leadership especially in the offensive room. What he has done for Andrew, those young receivers, those tight ends, on how to be a pro. Not only how to practice but how to prepare, he takes more notes than anybody in the room. He looks at their notes, checks them, and that's what you want from your leaders. You want them to make sure these young guys are accountable to the veterans on the team.” said Arians.

Arians discusses more about the Colts coming up on Sunday at 11 a.m. on Colts Playbook. You can also watch the Colts vs. Lions on Sunday at 1 p.m. on WISH-TV.
