INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie is out for the season.
The team said on Monday that Collie was placed on injured reserve as a result of a knee injury he suffered in Sunday's home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Collie ruptured a patellar tendon and will have surgery.

Collie returned to play Sunday after being out with a concussion he suffered in the preseason against Pittsburgh. His knee injury happened as he was making his first catch of the regular season in the third quarter.
The receiver from Brigham Young has had a short career marred with concussion issues. He suffered three in less than 22 months. He missed the first two games of this season. In 2010, he missed seven games because of injury.
