Colts look to light the town blue

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - With the Colts in the playoffs, the team is asking fans to #LightTheTownBlue.

That will happen Wednesday night on the city’s northwest side.

The Colts hired a company to light up one of the Pyramids, turn it blue, and add the Horseshoe Logo.

Football fan Greg Bosse is the one tasked with the job.

He's a busy man.  Bosse, who works for Image Engineering, is using two star shooter lights and a projector to complete the visual makeover.

He says this particular job is causing him some heartache.

That’s because his company is headquartered in Baltimore and that’s where he grew up.

Bosse is a Ravens fan.

“Family is not too happy. I tell them I do what pays,” said Bosse.

24-Hour News 8 asked if he had any plans to shine a Raven on the building or turn it purple instead of Colts blue.

“Maybe Sunday night,” Bosse said, jokingly.

Inside the Pyramid at the Art Institute of Indianapolis, Colts fan Travis Berghoff was amused to learn a Raven’s fan was working on turning the building blue.

“Well, we've stolen people from Baltimore before. We can take their light people too,” said Berghoff.

The die hard Colts fan says if there’s any funny business with the lighting, he’ll be ready to engage.

“I'd go find some wires to cut so it won't happen,” said Berghoff.
