INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - It's move-in day for the Colts.
Anderson University will be the team’s home for the next two plus weeks. Everyone is present and under contract, including the NFL's number one overall draft pick.
Andrew Luck was among the first to arrive and says he's ready to take the next step on his NFL journey.
“With so many new guys, new coach, new system, I think just to have practice reps, and to be around each other all day for however many weeks it is going to be very beneficial," Luck said.
Luck explains how he is going to define success at camp over the coming weeks.
"That's a very good question. I think it's very cliché, but get better each practice,” Luck said. “I know it's a very boring answer, but in my mind you've just got to keep getting better."
Luck and one third of the team’s roster are rookies, so there are a lot of new beginnings.
Reggie Wayne once again made a big splash on his arrival, coming in dressed in fatigues with seven Army reserve soldiers in three hum-vees saying they are the heroes, and he wants this team to take a page out of their book.
Practice begins Sunday morning ahead of their pre-season opener on Aug. 12.
