INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - As the sports community continues to buzz about Monday’s questionable call in the Packers game in Seattle, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay is now chiming in.
Replacement officials have been used to officiate NFL games the entire season, and fans and athletes have both been critical of their calls, and lack thereof.
NFL owners continue to negotiate with officials to bring them back to the field to work. Contract negotiations have thus far been unsuccessful.
Irsay commented on the negotiations on Wednesday through tweets to fans.
Your loud voices r heard about getting Refs back. We're desperately trying 2 get it done! We want a deal that improves officiating overall.

He insisted the delay with negotiating has nothing to do with greed on the part of NFL owners.
I'll pay $1,000,000,000.00 n Player costs in 7 years...it's not about greed or power mongering..new initiatives 2 improve officiating is key
