Colts part ways with Austin Collie

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts will not renew wide receiver Austin Collie's contract, the Colts announced Saturday.
"Austin was a warrior and an inspiration for the franchise and Colts fans around the world,” said Colts Owner and CEO Jim Irsay. “He was a great player for us and a superstar for our community, and will always be a part of the Colts family."
Collie hinted to his departure from the Colts via Twitter on Friday.

— Austin CollieCollie played with the Colts for four seasons after being selected in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Collie was placed on injured reserve for most of the 2012-2013 season as a result of a knee injury he suffered in a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. His knee injury happened as he was making his first catch of the regular season in the third quarter.
The Colts announced the separation the day after they announced they will not resign Dwight Freeney to a new contract.
