INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Colts placed defensive tackle Fili Moala and nose tackle Josh Chapman on season-ending injured reserve today.

Moala suffered a torn right ACL in Sunday’s win over Buffalo. He started eight games this season, recording 21 tackles.

Chapman will have to wait to make his Colts’ debut. The fifth-round draft pick this year has been sidelined the entire season after hurting his left knee during his last season of college at Alabama.

The Colts signed defensive tackle Kellen Heard to replenish their depth on the defensive line. Heard played in eight games for St. Louis this season, registering 5 tackles.  The Colts travel to Detroit on Sunday to take on the Lions at 1 p.m. on WISH TV.
