INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The NFL free agency period is underway and WISH TV Sports Director Anthony Calhoun was told on Tuesday afternoon that the Indianapolis Colts were not able to re-sign Cornerback Jerraud Powers.
Powers becomes an unrestricted free agent and can now test the NFL market.
Therefore, Powers' days of playing in Indianapolis are most likely over.
Powers has played four seasons with the Colts. In November, Jerraud Powers was put on Injured Reserve for the second time in his career. Powers started in eight games during the 2012-2013 season, had 45 tackles and an interception.
