Colts release linebacker from practice squad

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indianapolis Colts have released outside linebacker Jerry Brown from the practice squad.

Brown signed with Indy as an undrafted free agent May 23 and was waived Aug. 31. Indy brought him back to the practice squad Sept. 1 and he was promoted to the active roster last week. He played last Sunday against the Jets, was waived Tuesday and re-signed to the practice squad Wednesday.
