INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts have acquired cornerback D.J. Johnson in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu.
The deal will be finalized pending a completed physical, according to a release.
Johnson, who is 191 pounds and 6 feet 1 inches tall, competed in 10 NFL contests with the New York Giants from 2009 to 2010 and totaled three tackles.
He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2009. Johnson also spent time with the Tampa Bay and Minnesota practice squads before he was signed by the Washington Redskins in 2011.
After he was released by Washington, he was signed to the Philadelphia practice squad and remained there for the remainder of 2011, according to a release.
