INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Colts fans who want to go to a game or two but not buy an entire season ticket should circle Aug. 7 on the calendar.
The Colts on Thursday released the information outlining plans for single-game ticket sales.
At 10 a.m. on the Tuesday, fans can line up in person at the Lucas Oil Stadium box office, or use Ticketmaster online or over the phone to grab the seats that are still not sold. As of Thursday morning, the Colts were more than 1,500 season tickets short of a sellout, so they'll try to make up the difference in single-game sales.
Options will include eight regular season games starting with the Vikings Sept. 16 and ending with the Titans Dec. 30.
One catch for the Packers' game: the tickets will only be available bundled with the Rams preseason game.
Colts owner Jim Irsay seems confident about the plan and the sales of pre-season tickets already under way. Just as the team was announcing the plans for the sale, he was tweeting about it.
Sales are brisk 4 both Home Pre-Season Games so I guarantee 100% neither game will be blacked out so the media talking about it is pointless

A local television blackout is a possibility up until the games are actually sold out, and that has not happened yet.
