INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts have the day off Monday after winning
their fifth straight game. Like most games this season, it went
down to the closing minutes.
Things get off to a rough start for the Colts. Joseph Addai
fumbled the ball on the first play.
In the fourth quarter, the colts relied on their defense to get
points Sunday. Robert Mathis picked up a fumble and he went the
distance for his first career touchdown. The big play helped bail
out Peyton Manning and Indy's high-octane offense, which failed to
score a touchdown of this game.
Colts win 10 to 6. Coach Dungy spoke to reporters following the
game.
"I thought we had a lot of guys step up today. A lot of guys
make big plays when we needed them. All in all, I thought we did a
good job, and of course, our defense made some big plays in the
second half. But that's what's winning football is all about. You
get it from different guys. The key is to come away with a win and
we've done that in November," said Dungy.
The Colts improve to eight and four on the season.
Indianapolis takes on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, a game
you can see on WISH-TV. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
