INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The head of the Indianapolis Colts is saying he’s not ready to put Peyton Manning back on the field.
Jim Irsay responded to a report that came out Thursday that said Manning was cleared to play pro-ball again.
Irsay tweeted 2 a.m. Friday morning.
Peyton has not passed our physical nor has he been cleared to play for The Indianapolis Colts. Team statement coming on Friday.

Peyton's doctor's cleared him for play Thursday. Manning was cleared to practice in December - that would have allowed him to start playing again.
Earlier this week, Peyton said his recovery from neck surgery is on schedule.
