INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians announced Wednesday that teammates have voted quarterback Andrew Luck, wide receiver Reggie Wayne, rush linebacker Robert Mathis, defensive end Cory Redding, kick returner Joe Lefeged, and punter Pat McAfee captains. They will serve as the permanent captains for the rest of the season.

"Any time you're voted on something positive by your teammates, it means a lot more than other awards," Luck said. "It's really an honor."

Redding agreed.

"It means a lot,” he said. “The biggest thing is just being yourself. I am a natural born leader. I have leadership qualities and I try to show those things in everything that I do."

Arians also said safety Tom Zbikowski and running back Donald Brown will not practice on Wednesday and have been ruled out for Sunday's game against Tennessee. Guard Joe Reitz and tackle Winston Justice have to undergo further testing after suffering concussions in Sunday's game at Detroit.
