No time to dwell on Jets loss

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) -   Last Monday, it was "pure elation" for the Colts after their rally against the Packers.

This week, the feeling is frustration after the Jets dominate them on Sunday.

The Colts 35-9 loss at MetLife Stadium on Sunday was downright ugly.

Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck and the offense couldn't find the end zone, while turning the ball over 4 times.

The defense didn't fare any better, getting beat up by New York's "ground and pound" offense.

The Jets ran for 252 yards.

Sean Green had 161 of those yards, a new career high for him.

WISH TV 8 Sports Director Anthony Calhoun asked Colts Interim Coach Bruce Arians how important is it for his team not to dwell on what happened on Sunday against the Jets.

"It's just like the win over Green Bay.

A loss after New York, you've got a 24-hour rule.

You've got another team coming, so you can't dwell on it.

You fix it.” said Arians. “You look at the tape, identify what happened, right and wrong, and go on to the next day.

We've done that and I think everybody sees what we're capable of being and if we don't play where we're capable of playing, we'll get beat like that.

Simple things.” said Arians.

Luck had his toughest game of his career on Sunday against the Jets, "I know a lot of the guys in the locker room were disappointed with themselves, but you realize, maybe you wallow in misery for a couple of minutes then you realize, one game.

Put it behind us.

Can't do anything about it now.

Try to learn from it and get that going.

As athletes, as competitors that's what you have to do after every game." said the Colts Quarterback.

The Colts play host to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts have had much more success so far this season at home.

They've turned the ball over 9 times in 2 games on the road and only twice in 3 games at Lucas Oil Stadium.

You can watch the Colts, Browns game on Sunday at 1pm on WISH TV.
