INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - As news spreads Monday morning that Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano was battling leukemia , the social media world exploded with support for him.

Many had taken to using the hashtag ChuckStrong to voice their support, including fans and players. The phrase is a play on words for a common Colts slogan, Colts Strong.

Colts long snapper Matt Overton had supportive words for his coach.

Punter and avid Twitter user Pat McAfee indirectly commented on Pagano, calling life unpredictable and urging people to tell people they love them.

He then tweeted, “#ChuckStrong” and it was retweeted by many.

Several teams offered messages of support, including Pagano’s former team, the Baltimore Ravens.
