DENVER, Colo. (WISH) - Former Indianapolis Colt turned free agent quarterback Peyton Manning has narrowed his choices down to the Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans, sources told the Denver Post .
According to a Mike Klis article on the newspaper’s website , both teams are negotiating deals worth a total of $60 million for Manning. Sources told Klis that the deal included a guaranteed $30 million, “give or take,” over five years.
Broncos big wigs, including John Elway, flew to North Carolina, where Manning has been working out, to watch him throw and examine him, the article reported.
As to the timeline of any deals, the article cited a source saying both teams hope to know more over the weekend.
