INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - In the wake of the Colts’ first 0-2 start since 1998, Bill Polian has a message for Colts fans: Be patient.
While taping his weekly show with 24-Hour News 8 Sports Director Anthony Calhoun, the Colts vice chairman reminded fans that no one should be expected to come in and fill the void left by Peyton Manning.
“They should not expect - and I understand that everybody does - but they should not expect (Kerry Collins) to operate the offense the way that Peyton does,” Polian said.
Collins performed better at home in week two against the Browns than he did in the season opener at Houston, but the outcome was the same. In his first two games, the man Jim Irsay paid $4 million to come out of retirement has committed four turnovers that have led to 24 points.

You can watch the Bill Polian show every Saturday night at 11:35 p.m. on 24-Hour News 8.
