INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Colts’ defensive end and WISH TV analyst Cory Redding recognized the students of Longfellow Middle School Tuesday afternoon with a visit and a pizza party.

It’s all part of a season-long pledge the students made with Redding to attend class, respect others and work hard at their grades.

It’s a cause close to Redding’s heart.

“I wouldn’t be standing here if not for the people in my life that had a hand on me, keeping me on the right track,” said Redding.  There have been many times I could’ve taken the other route.  For me being where I am now, it’s a blessing, and I need to pay it forward and be the same people that was along with me when I was young. ”
