Tickets a steal for Steelers matchup

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - It's a buyers market when it comes to Colts tickets. There are plenty of tickets available for Sunday night’s game against the Steelers.

Online ticket broker StubHub started the day with more than 500 tickets available. Prices started at $40.

Ticket brokers say prices are half of what they would normally be. The reason for the price drop is simple: The team is winless and Peyton Manning is not playing.

Renny Harrison runs Fanfare tickets in Carmel. He has dozens of tickets available for Sunday night’s game against the Steelers.

"We have upper level seats between $40-50. Lower level seats for around $100 per ticket. I would imagine if we weren't in the current situation tickets would be more expensive."

Harrison expects to unload all of the tickets he has for Sunday’s game.

"For the rest of the season, we currently have seats for less than face value for every game" said Harrison.

Many fans aren't giving up on their team yet. A number turned up for Blue Friday at the Carmel Meijer. They tried their luck at winning some free tickets.

"It's not all about PM. I wish him Godspeed and health and get back as soon as possible but we have to rally around the team and keep our focus on going to the super bowl" said Nancy Wise of Indianapolis

But fans admit last weeks game against the Browns was far from inspirational.
Fan support for the team appeared to waiver.

"The only thing disheartening was when everybody got up and left before the game was over. " said Seymour resident Ashley Michael who attended the game.

Fans we talked to were optimistic the team can turn things around. But they admit it might take time.

"We've won 12 years in a row going to the playoffs. We have one bad season oh well, we'll come back next year" said Mark Brandt of Anderson.
