INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The WNBA and the Indiana Fever hosted 75 youth from LeGore Boys and Girls Club for the Dribble to Stop Diabetes Clinic on Saturday.
Athletes worked with boys and girls at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on basketball skills and emphasized the importance of leading an active and healthy lifestyle.
Dribble to Stop Diabetes is a national campaign that encourages fans to lead healthy lifestyles and raises awareness about type 2 diabetes prevention and management.
Indiana Fever players Tamika Catchings, Briann January, Erlana Larkins, Erin Phillips and Shavonte Zellous were at the clinic along with assistant coach Stephanie White and WNBA legend Teresa Edwards.
