Fever start on road to championship

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indiana Fever start the road to a possible WNBA championship against the Connecticut Sun in the Eastern Conference finals.
The series starts Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Fever finished off the Atlanta Dream in three games to make it to the finals against the Sun.
The Sun wrapped up the regular season as the top seed in the East, in large part due to league MVP Tina Charles.
“They have a ton of weapons,” said Fever guard Briann January. “They have people that can stretch it out, people that can attack the rim. If we can play team defense and seal the deal, I think we should be able to do well against them.
The series returns to Indianapolis on Monday. A game three will be played in Connecticut on Thursday, Oct. 11.
