GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Brennan Cougill scored 21 points and Alec Brown added 19 on Saturday night as Green Bay opened up a significant lead in the second half and defeated Butler 80-68.
Cougill and Brown each grabbed eight rebounds for Green Bay (9-12, 5-6 Horizon), which led 33-32 at halftime.
Two other players scored in double figures for Green Bay -- Keifer Sykes (14) and Steve Baker (10). Sykes also had seven assists.
Roosevelt Jones led Butler (12-11, 6-5) with 16 points and eight rebounds. Ronald Nored scored 13 points, while Erik Fromm and Chrishawn Hopkins each scored 10 points.
Cougill connected on 3 of 6 shots from 3-point range, and Brown was 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.
