HSE student named player of the year

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Hamilton Southeastern High School athlete Taya Reimer was named the 2013 female Morgan Wootten player of the year in the McDonald's All American Awards Ceremony Monday.

The ceremony was in Chicago at the Ronald McDonald House.

Reimer is the daughter of 1991 McDonald's All American Ben Davis. The pair makes up the first father/daughter duo in games history. She is a writer for her high school newspaper and a youth basketball coach.

She will play in the McDonald's All American Games on April 3 at Chicago's United Center.
