State boys' basketball championship games set

The pairings for the state boys’ basketball championships are set after a busy day at semi-state.  All games will be played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse next Saturday. 

4A:

In the 4A state championship, Carmel will meet Cathedral.  The Greyhounds dominated Merrillville 66-36 on Saturday while Cathedral took down Jeffersonville 74-53.  The state championship game will be played at 8:15pm.

3A:

In 3A, Greensburg will face Fort Wayne Concordia.  The Pirates dominated Mt. Vernon 62-37.  Fort Wayne Concordia beat Andrean 68-63 in overtime to move on to the championship game.  That game will be played at 6:00pm.

2A:

The 2A state championship game will feature Bowman Academy and Linton-Stockton.  Bowman Academy held off Tipton for a 67-64 win.  Linton-Stockton survived Speedway in overtime, pulling out a 76-75 win.  The 2A championship game will be played at 12:45pm. 

A:

Triton and Borden will meet for the Class A state championship.  Triton beat Lafayette Central Catholic 40-32 while Borden won 47-44 vs. University.  The Class A championship game will be at 10:30am.
