A game winning field goal on the final play of the game lifts Ball State to a 41-39 win over Indiana University.
The pair traded punches throughout the entire game with the Hoosiers taking a 39-38 lead in the final minute of play. The comeback effort for Indiana was led by third string quarterback Nate Sudfield, who took over for Cam Coffman late in the game. Coffman went out with a hip injury just week after the Hoosiers lost starting quarterback Tre Roberson with a broken leg.
Ball State now returns to Muncie to host South Florida next week. Indiana has a bye.
