INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler University is hosting a viewing party for students and fans that don’t have a ticket to the Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadiu.
The party will take place at Hinkle Fieldhouse beginning at 8 p.m. The concession and spirit shop will be open. The event is free and open to the public.
On campus, students and even members of the basketball band will still be attending classes. The dorms and arts buildings are decorated with posters and lights.
Meanwhile, parents of the Bulldogs team are also getting ready for Monday night's big game.
"I'm so excited for my son. He's worked very hard to get here, and there really is a great team feeling between all the players," said Sheryl Rodgers, mom of Butler basketball player, Nick Rodgers.
Sheryl Rodgers and her husband Chris are both Butler grads and have two sons enrolled at BU right now. Chris Rodgers was also a basketball player at Butler
"It's something our team never accomplished. Maybe tonight we'll have a champion in our family," said Rodgers.
Butler will take on Duke tonight at Lucas Oil Stadium. Tip off is at 9:21 p.m.
