INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Butler Bulldogs are ready for their showdown Thursday afternoon against Bucknell in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

“I’m extremely excited. I can’t put it into words,” said senior guard Rotnei Clarke, who will play in his first NCAA tournament game. “It’s just a huge opportunity for us. I’m excited to share it with these guys and the coaching staff.”

“I’m jumpy right now,” added junior forward Khyle Marshall. “I’m ready to play. It’s been too long since we’ve been here, so I’m excited to get back out there.

It has been a very busy day for the Bulldogs. They had a morning practice at Transylvania University before heading to Rupp Arena to meet with the media and have a shoot around.

“It’s all about getting here,” said head coach Brad Stevens. “It’s not about you seed. It’s not about all the stuff people want to talk about. It’s all about just getting an opportunity.”

Game time against Bucknell is 12:40 p.m.
