Pacers' Boomer smashes HS backboard

NEW PALESTINE, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana Pacers mascot Boomer’s performance at New Pal Friday night was nothing short of smashing.

The furry creature’s signature trampoline dunk ended with glass raining down on the court.

ReportIt pictures and videos show the crowd going wild after the mascot smashed the backboard.

The back board could not be immediately repaired prompting officials to move the New Pal to the auxiliary gym.
