INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Pacers star Mike Dunleavy has suffered a setback, and will now likely not be ready for the team's season opener in Atlanta.
Dunleavy and Coach Jim O'Brien expressed optimism Friday at media day that the veteran would be ready to start the season, despite off-season knee surgery.
But the team's website reports that an MRI revealed a "Grade 2 strain" of a ligament behind Dunleavy's knee.
That injury will likely keep the veteran off the court more than a month.
