INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indiana Pacers started off the season losing three straight games but they've bounced back and have won the last two.
The team knows there's still a lot of work to be done.
"We aren't going to say everything is going great, even though we've won two games. But we have a lot of season left and we have to just stay on the grind because we still have a lot to go," said Danny Granger.
Injuries have been one reason the Pacers are 2-3 on the season. Leading scorer Granger has been nursing an injured heel.
"It's one of those things that when after I play it's really sore," said the all star.
Pacers coach Jim O'Brien will have Granger as well as Tyler Hansbrough in the line up on Wednesday when Golden State comes to town.
Hansbrough scored 13 points in his professional debut. The rookie missed all of preseason and four regular season games with a shin injury.
"Felt real good. I was a little nervous coming in here, I didn't really know what to expect. I think games will be easier now and I'll know what to expect more," said Hansbrough.
The Pacers expect a track meet when the Warriors come to town.
"They love the up-tempo, we really like it, so if anybody likes offensive basketball I would suggest they should come to Conseco tomorrow," said O'Brien.
“They put up 146 points last game. We like to push it. So hopefully a lot of points will be put up and we will be on the top end of that," Granger added.
Tip off on Wednesday is at 7 p.m.
