NEW YORK (AP) - The Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets will play a preseason game
Oct. 8 at Taipei Arena.
It will be the NBA's first game in Taiwan, and Pacers
president Larry Bird calls it a "great opportunity to promote our
game and create new fans."
It also will be Indiana's first overseas game since the
Pacers played Seattle in Germany and Spain in 1996.
The Taiwan game was announced today by the NBA.
A health care battle is heating up in Washington and here in Indianapolis.
