INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will need three months to recover from injury, the team announced on Wednesday.
Granger, who was the Pacers’ leading scorer last season, received an injection for his knee trouble. The Pacers said Granger has patellar tendinosis in his left knee. The injection procedure was performed in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
The Pacers fell to San Antonio on Monday, after pulling off a double-overtime win against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday during their regular season home opener.
