Pacers to face Bulls in preseason games

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - This is the day Indiana Pacers fans have been waiting for. The team's full schedule will be available Tuesday evening.

Right now the NBA has already announced the Pacers will face the Chicago Bulls twice in the preseason. Their first game will be at Conseco Fieldhouse on at 7 p.m. Dec. 16. The second game will be in Chicago at 8 p.m. Dec. 20.

Under the new NBA schedule, the season stretches from Christmas day until late April, with playoffs beginning April 28. Every team will play 66 games.

Each team will only play two preseason games instead of the normal eight games this season.

NBA owners and players say they reached a new labor agreement over the Thanksgiving weekend.

That ended the 149-day lockout that blew away the first seven weeks of the regular season.

In the new 10-year labor deal the players' basketball-related income will be no higher than 51 percent of total revenue.

Teams are allowed to hold training camps and free agent signings beginning Friday.
