INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Pacers will open their season Dec. 26 in Indianapolis against the Detroit Pistons.
The NBA’s 66th season will get under way on Christmas Day. The compacted 66-game schedule announced Tuesday will require every team to play on three consecutive nights at least once. For the Indiana Pacers, that won’t come until mid-February, and then again in late March.
The Pacers will have 33 home games at Conseco Fieldhouse, the first at 7 p.m. Dec. 26. Fans can get information on all ticket packages by going to Pacers.com or contacting the Pacers’ ticket department at (317) 917-2500. Single-game tickets will go on sale Dec. 12.
