INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Day two of the NFL scouting combine at Lucas Oil Stadium is in the books.
Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano was on hand Friday to do his homework with the draft-eligible college stars and meet the media.
He says he feels great, his hair and color are back, has no restrictions, and is ready to continue building “the monster.”
“We're going to look at everything; obviously, ton of players here to look at,” Pagano said in reference to what he is looking for this week. “We've analyzed ourselves pretty good, dove in as far as cell scout, there's some areas there I think we all know that need to be addressed. We're not just going to earmark one or two areas to address, we're going to take a look at everybody here and hopefully plug in a few pieces to help us."
Pagano said that he thinks rush linebacker Jerry Hughes is ready to take over for the departed Dwight Freeney, and that the team hopes to re-sign free agent punter Pat MacAfee.
