INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis will see something next year that the city hasn’t seen in a decade — professional soccer.

The president of the Keystone Group is the mastermind behind bringing professional soccer back to the Circle City. The team, which would be part of the North American Soccer League, would start next year. The league is a feeder league for MLS.

Typically, teams in the league play 25 games with the same number of players on the roster. 18 players will suit up when they play, most likely on Saturday nights. In looking around the North American Soccer League, tickets range anywhere between $10 and $30.

This is not the first time professional soccer has been in Indianapolis. The Indiana Blast started back in 1997 but folded in 2004.

The team plans to announce more information Wednesday afternoon.
