MIAMI (WISH) - No city has held the big game as often as Miami has but South Florida is in a fight for its Super Bowl future and Indianapolis is part of the reason why.

The league wants better lighting, more video screens and to be closer to the field.
Several civic leaders also believe the league wants a roof or covering for fans to avoid a repeat of the dounpour they endured in 2007.

"Obviously, with the new Cowboys stadium that has come on board, and the new Colts stadium that has come on board, there is more expectations because there are beautiful stadiums that are being built."
The stadiums, Elder mentions, and the 2013 host Superdome, all have something South Florida's stadium lacks: a roof over the fans.
Organizers see that as evidence that even Sun Life Stadium may need a little shade.
